Can I use my own domain name?

Yes. You can map your own domain name to your Squarespace site with our Domain Mapping feature, which is available with all current site packages.

Essentially, you'll need to purchase a domain from a third party service and create a CNAME alias within your provider's interface to point the domain to us. Check out this FAQ post for more info.

I'm having an issue with my custom domain, how do I access my site?

Your site still exists at your .squarespace.com domain. You can access your site at any time, regardless of your domain settings, from your Squarespace URL:

http://xxx.squarespace.com

By replacing "xxx" with your Squarespace account name.
