Adding a Section

A section is used to organize your Pages and Widgets in groups for easier display in your sidebar, or to hide certain content from your sidebar.

Step 1- Select Structure Editing

When logged in click the Structure icon in the admin bar at the top right of your screen.

Scroll to the bottom of your sidebar and click the button to add section.

Step 2 - Configure

Fill in the configuration settings, and then click to save.

Step 4 (Optional) - Add Sections via the Website Management Area

You can also add sections from the Administration Area of your site:

  1. Click the Website Management link in the upper left corner of the window, and then choose Architecture under Structure.
  2. Click the insert section button at the bottom of the list.

Don't want to name your section? You actually don't have to, as you can leave the "Title" field blank if you like.

The new section will now be displayed at the bottom of your Architecture page, and the bottom of your sidebar on your live site.

Don't want the pages in your section to be visible in your sidebar? From the Architecture view, click the hide link in the gray header bar of your section to remove it from the sidebar of your live site.
