Embedding Quicktime, Flash and Windows Media
QuickTime, Flash, and Windows Media can be included in any Squarespace page allowing visitors to your website to experience media seamlessly inside their browser.
However, as with any page on the Web, you will need to add some HTML that tells the browser which plug-in is needed to display the media.
Step 1 - Upload the Media file
First, you'll need to upload the file to your General Storage area.
See this guide for assistance with uploading files to General Storage »
Step 2 - Switch to Raw HTML Mode
Navigate to the page you wish to add the file to, and click 'edit page'. Choose 'Raw HTML' in the drop-down menu located in the right, top corner of the edit window.
Step 3 - Add the correct embed code
As browsers frequently change, and methods of embedding content can change, we've opted to link directly to the software developers' sites for the most up to date methods of embedding their media in your page.
