You can map your own domain name to your Squarespace site using our Domain Mapping feature. Please note, this feature is not available with our Basic plan. You must upgrade your account to Pro or higher to access this service.

The following instructions are for configuring your domain in  GoDaddy's control panel. These instructions assume you have already registered a domain with GoDaddy, and can take up to 48 hours to propagate through the Internet.

Step 1 - Login to Your GoDaddy Account

Using the login prompt in the top right corner of the screen at http://www.godaddy.com/, enter your login credentials and click "Secure Login"

Step 2 - Access Your GoDaddy Account Settings

Once your account has been accessed, click "My Account" where the login promp previously was. Now, at the top left of the screen, hover your mouse over the "Domains" box, and select "My Domain Names" from the drop down list.
