You can map your own domain name to your Squarespace site using our Domain Mapping feature. Please note, this feature is not available with our Basic plan. You must upgrade your account to Pro or higher to access this service.

The following instructions are for configuring your domain in  eNom's control panel. These instructions assume you have already registered a domain with eNom, and can take up to 48 hours to propagate through the Internet.

Step 1 - Access Your Domain Control Panel

Under the Domains menu, select my domains and click on the domain you'd like to configure. This should bring you to your Domain Control Panel page.

Step 2 - Access DNS Settings

Under the DNS Settings (Zone File) area, click the Configure button. This will take you to the Domain Name Host Records page.

Step 3 - Add CNAME Mapping

Under the Host Records Setup area, next to the Hostname of "www", change the Record Type to CNAME and enter  www.squarespace.com in the Address field.

Under the Host Records Setup area beside the Hostname of "@ (none)", change the Record Type to CNAME and enter  www.squarespace.com in the Address field.

Click Save Changes.

Step 4 - Login to your Squarespace site manager

Within the Structure & Style > Domain Mapping area, create two records -- www.yourdomain.com and yourdomain.com. Set your www.yourdomain.com record as the primary.
